How to Use a Binance Referral Code (and Where to Enter It)

Exactly where the Binance referral field is, how to enter K6O8CPLG correctly, and how to check the discount was applied to your account.

A referral code is a short string of letters and numbers that links your new account to an existing member's referral program. When you enter a valid code you receive a discount on your trading fees, and the person who shared it earns a small commission. It is completely free for you to use.

Where is the field?

It appears directly on the Binance registration form. On desktop it sits below the password field and may be collapsed under a link that says 'Enter Referral ID (Optional)'. On the mobile app it appears in the same sign-up flow. Whichever device you use, the code goes in during registration — never after.

Code to enter: K6O8CPLG

Two ways to apply it

  • Manual: type K6O8CPLG into the 'Referral ID' field on the sign-up page.
  • Automatic: click a referral link (binance.com/join?ref=K6O8CPLG) and the field is filled in for you before you even start typing.

How to confirm it worked

After registering, go to your profile and open the Referral or Fees section. You should see your account is linked to a referrer and that a fee discount is active. If you see the discount rate, the code was applied successfully.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Leaving the field blank — you simply pay full fees with no way to fix it later.
  • Adding a space or extra character — copy the code exactly: K6O8CPLG.
  • Trying to add it after the account is created — Binance does not allow this.
