The Binance Referral Program Explained
How the Binance referral program works for both the inviter and the invitee, commission rates, and how the invite code fits in.
The Binance referral program is one of the longest-running and most generous in crypto. It rewards existing users for introducing new traders, and it rewards those new traders with a fee discount. Here is how the whole system fits together.
The two sides of a referral
- The referrer (inviter) shares their unique code or link and earns a commission on the fees their invitees pay.
- The invitee (you) enters that code at sign-up and receives a discount on your own trading fees.
How the reward split works
When you sign up with a code, Binance calculates a referral rate on your trading fees. The referrer can choose to share a portion of that rate back with you — that shared portion is your discount. With K6O8CPLG the shared-back portion is 20%, which is at the high end of what codes offer.
Not all codes are equal. Many public codes share back 0%. Always use a code that passes a discount to you, like K6O8CPLG.
Does using a code cost me anything?
No. You never pay more for using a referral code — you pay less. The commission the referrer earns comes out of Binance's cut, not an extra charge on top of your fees. This is why entering a code is always the smart move.
Can I become a referrer too?
Yes. Once your account is active you get your own referral code and link from the Referral section. You can share it with friends and earn commissions on their trading, building a passive income stream over time.
